Johnny Barlow, a founding member of succesful Liverpool rock and roll band Amsterdam, is now about to release his first ever solo album entitled 'The Fosse Way'.
Along with his cousin Ian Prowse John has been part of the ten year Amsterdam rollercoaster that has seen the lads hit the top 40, duet with Elvis Costello for EMI records, record John Peels second ever favourite song with 'Does this train stop on Merseyside?' and have last album 'Arm in Arm' voted 14th best album ever out of Liverpool by the local press.
Johnny's songwriting contribution to that album was the beautiful 'Rosie' and fan favourite 'Feels like growin' up'. Now a full album of Barlow gems is to be released on Monday 13th September.
Three full band shows in Liverpool, London and Stroud have been announced to promote 'The Fosse Way'.
